Dear Parents and Carers
It has been great to see all of the ‘This is Me’ work that has been going on, both in school and at home. Next week’s theme has a heroic flavour to it!! Have you seen the teachers videos yet? We hope that you enjoy the learning.
Looking forward…
Thank you to all of the families who have responded to our invitations to come to see us for ‘Share and Shine’, the new Early Years Royal Garden Party and the Year 6 Leavers Celebration Breakfast. If you haven’t replied yet, please let us know using our office2@yaptonschool.org email.
The teachers have been writing the end of year reports for their classes. This year, these will be sent to you by ParentMail in the last week of term. If you would like to respond to any elements of your child’s report, you will be able to communicate to your child’s teacher using the office2@yaptonschool.org email.
Hot Meals in September 2020
If your child is moving into year 3 in September, please can I remind you that they will no longer be entitled to a free school meal. You will need to contact Chartwells – our catering company – to order directly. If you feel that you may be entitled to a free school meal, please contact the school office. Please look out for the information for parents/carers of children moving into Year 3 on our school website next week.
Keeping Safe
The Government have recently published new guidance about keeping children safe, please see the link below:
Free School Meal Vouchers
We will be ordering the Edenred vouchers for one week to finish the term and then a voucher specifically for the summer holidays. Please check your emails over the next couple of weeks.
As always, if you need us, please contact the school, either by phone 01243 551246 or office2@yaptonschool.org
Have a lovely weekend and take care.
