WEEKLY NEWS FOR FAMILES 1.10.21

Dear Parents and Carers,

The weather seems to have taken a swift turn this week! It feels very ‘autumnal’.
Please make sure that all of the children have coats in school and suitable footwear too.
Can I remind you that PE tops need to be white. Thank you.

HARVEST SERVICES
Thank you to all of the families who either came to the Church to take part or who helped us on our walk to church. The children sang beautifully and their prayers and reflections demonstrated care and compassion. We thought about being ‘thankful’ and Rev Richard spoke to us about how hard it can be sometimes to say ‘thank you’. Richard talked to us about ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’ being two of the hardest words to say. He was helped in his reflection by Lucy from Y6 who suggested that ‘help’ was also a word that can be particularly difficult to say. We walked back to school with a spring in our step and lots to think about! It was great to finally be able to go to church after a two year wait due to the pandemic.
