Dear Parents and Carers, It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying your children’s favourite pieces of learning at yesterday’s Time to Shine. If you didn’t get the chance to go into the classroom yesterday, please grab an opportunity to have a look at what your children have been learning over the past few weeks. February Prayer As we welcome in a new month, we have a new school prayer. Thank you to Hope, in Cowdray Class, who has written our February prayer. It is attached so you can enjoy it. INSET Days Don’t forget we have two INSET Days coming up. The school will be closed to children on Friday 10th February and Monday 20th February. Chichester Young Voices Here is something from the West Sussex Music Service: We are delighted to announce that this term we will be starting a new choir for 9-13 year olds, Chichester Young Voices! Sessions take place at Chichester Music Centre and are absolutely free of charge this term!!! Led by Mark Bradbury (Director of the West Sussex Youth Choirs), West Sussex Young Voices is a treble voice choir that provides younger musicians with the foundations they need to become outstanding choral singers, inspire and equip them with many great life skills along the way. This includes learning to sing in parts, music reading skills and developing their individual voices. No previous experience is necessary, just a love of singing and a willingness to learn. We are holding a freetaster workshop on Thursday 9th February 4-5pm at Chichester Music Centre (St. Josephs CE Junior School, Orchard Street, PO19 1DQ Attached is the flyer about this. Children’s Mental Health Week Next week is the annual Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is ‘Let’s Connect’.
