Dear Parents and Carers,
The second payment towards the October 2026 Year 6 Residential Visit to CYE will be due at the end of this month.
Please may I remind you that CYE offer a very generous 40% bursary towards the total cost of the visit. This is open to any family who may, for whatever reason, find it hard to cover the whole cost, or the reduced cost to those families whose children in the year group are entitled to Free School Meals.
Applications for the bursary need to made by completing the form which is attached. Copies of this form are also available at the school office.
CYE are requesting these applications are made very much sooner rather than later. This will help them work out the total cost for the school and it will also enable the school to work out new balances and payment schedules over this academic year. The applications need to be supported by the school. Please can any forms be completed and returned to school by Wednesday 1st October. The school will then send the forms to CYE in one go.
If you have any questions regarding the cost of the visit, please talk to myself or Mrs Huggett. Please be reassured any conversations regarding finances will remain confidential.
