Registration
8.45am to 8.55am.

Morning playtimes

Break is from 10.30 to 10.45

Fruit is provided free for all children in KS1 and children in KS2 are encouraged to bring a fruit snack in to eat during their morning break.

Reception children have break times which are quite flexible. Towards the end of the school year, they will join children in Key Stage 1 to have breaks at set times.

Lunch

Lunch is from 12 noon to 1.00pm

All children in Key Stage 1 are entitled to free hot school meals provided by Chartwells, which are eaten in the log cabin.

Drop-off and collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground, after 8.40am and 3.10pm. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents.  If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know.

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park considerately.
