Dear Parents and Carers,
we have been notified by a local school to report that one of their pupils was approached by a man in his thirties as they were walking home from school this afternoon.
The child ran back to school and reported the incident to their staff.
The police have been informed and they are investigating the incident.
I am sending this email as it is important that you are aware and can stay vigilant.
If your child has permission to walk home from school, please remind them about ‘how to keep safe’ on their journey.
You may wish to collect your child from school moving forward whilst we wait for any further updates.
