Dear Parents and Carers,
we often feel that January is a cold and long month following the excitement of Christmas.
It is understandable that this may be a more stressful month for some families.
As a school, we have noticed an increase in negative behaviour on the playground, both to other families and to school staff.
Of course we are here to help and support you, our SLT are on the school gate, our office opens at 8.30am until 3.30pm and our office2@yaptonschool.org email is regularly checked by our SLT.
It should therefore not be necessary to act in a negative way on our school site.
If my staff are feeling vulnerable as a result of this behaviour then I will need to take further action in line with our Parental Code of Conduct Policy.
