RE: Swimming Gala on Wednesday 25th March 2026
We have entered a team into the local area WSW Swimming Gala.
We would like to invite Joe to take part in this exciting competition on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at Arun Leisure Centre. There is no cost for this event and it is a chance for Joe to compete against other local schools.
Each Swimmer can take part in a maximum of 2 races and both relays which are all 25m in length. Children will need their swimming kit including googles and will be provided with a swimming hat. They will also need a spare top and towel to be able to keep warm when not taking part in their races. If we can please ask that children with longer hair have it tied up.
Children will need to be provided with a packed lunch on this day as they will need to eat at 11am ready to be collected at 11.30am. Participants will also need a drinks bottle filled with water.
The Gala starts at 12.15pm therefore your child will need to be collected by a parent/guardian or somebody else attending on the day at 11.30am from school office, and then picked up at 3.30pm from the Arun Leisure Centre following the presentation.
Unfortunately the Arun Leisure Centre is unable to accommodate any spectators.
It is essential that you complete the consent form on ParentMail by Friday 20th March 2026 to confirm your child’s participation in this event. If your child can’t take part, then please let the office know.
